Hello there, did you manage to do a little batch cooking this weekend? If not, consider firing up the slow cooker in the morning. You deserve a bowl of ready-made hot soup when you get home from a busy day. Intentional eating and living in 2025The one thing that makes the biggest difference between my coaching clients who are overwhelmed by all the things and those who function in a state of flow is this: the weekly review. It doesn't need to take a long time. Spending just 15 minutes thinking back on the week that is ending and another 10 minutes planning the week ahead is enough to avoid being completely at the mercy of outside forces. (I prefer to have at least an hour, but any amount of time is better than zero.) This is generally true for professional responsibilities and pursuits. It is doubly true for the foundation of life itself: our self-care habits. Including cooking wholesome meals for ourselves and our loved ones. Doing a similar process with the whole year in mind makes the weekly cycle of review even more powerful. Let's do this exercise together! On Tuesday December 17th I am hosting a free interactive workshop called Intentional eating and living in 2025. To encourage deep engagement, it's live only (no replay). Can't make it to the live call? Consider signing up anyway to receive the free worksheet. Learn more here: Intentional 2025. Last chance to get on the Plan, Prep, & Relax waitlist!
It's time to turn conventional meal planning on its head and try cascade cooking. That's what my new course, Plan, Prep, and Relax, is all about. Plan, Prep, & Relax: Plant-Based Batch Cooking for Busy Beginners will launch for at a special pre-sale price this coming week... only for those on the waitlist. Gifts from my kitchen to yours (or theirs!)There's no shortage of beautiful cookbooks to offer as a gift (I have two on my list!)... but maybe it's time to move away from individual recipes and towards a system to make really good food happen. If you know someone who could benefit from that new mindset, here are some options: My book! Flow in the Kitchen: Practices for Healthy Stress-Free Vegan Cooking: Help them embrace cooking really good food! Available on Amazon or order from your local bookstore. Thank you Pam for the kind review! Psst! If you enjoyed the book yourself, please leave a review! That's all I want for Christmas. Vegan Meal Plan subscription: This is not a gift to give lightly. Not everyone has the bandwidth to engage with whole food plant based cooking and meal plans. However, if you think a year's worth of dinners (with recipes, shopping lists, prep steps, and direct access to me when they have questions) is the perfect gift for someone you know, consider buying them a gift subscription! This special holiday package includes the all-in-one PDF of the Vegan Family Meal Plans - total value of $153 for only $100. (The catch: unlike the regular way to subscribe, this one is not refundable.) In case you wonder: yes, it's possible to take advantage of the gift subscription package for yourself. Keep on cooking, beautiful friends, Brigitte p.s. Speaking of weekly review and intentional eating, it's not too late to plan a meal or two for next week! Get inspired from the Vegan Family Meal Plan for the last two weeks of 2024. For the full recipes, shopping list, prep steps, and direct access to me when you have questions, you can offer yourself a gift lifetime subscription for $100. :) |
Let me inspire you to plan, prep, and cook simple healthy vegan meals for yourself and your loved ones.
Hi there, what's cooking this weekend? Do you have a meal plan for next week? It's not too late to pull one together! You can use my basic template with themes or, if you want to make as few decisions as possible, my "mad libs" style Winter-produce meal plan template (just fill in the blanks!). Which of these mistakes do you (still) make? No shame! Despite planning healthy vegan meals for 10+ years, even I sometimes still make some of these meal planning mistakes. It's always good to remember...

Hello there, what's cooking? It's Sunday night and I'm going to make my version of mapo tofu tonight, with medium tofu, shiitake mushrooms, and a little mountain of broccoli - my favorite vegetable.
