Hello there, what's cooking?
The Spring season of content and programs in the Vegan Family Kitchen is for YOU! In my Vegan Family Kitchen, families of one are also welcome. A more efficient and less wasteful way to cook for one (that will actually get you to eat at home)When living on one's own, it's easy to lose motivation for cooking. Let's face it: πͺ Creating a healthy vegan meal from scratch takes at least 20 minutes, probably more like 30 or 40 minutes. π½οΈ Eating alone takes... what, 5 minutes? Depressing. If that's you, I don't blame you for buying ready-made meals, ordering in, or eating a PB&J sandwich. And also I'd love for you to enjoy a nutritious and delicious meal cooked at home with love by yourself, for your self instead. There's a few ways you could achieve that:

Cascade cooking means more intention and planning, with less time and effort in the kitchen. Pretty sure it's cheaper, too - restaurant food is SO expensive!! This is what I teach in my course Plan, Prep, and Relax: Plant-Based Batch Cooking for Busy Beginners, and the Spring 2025 cohort is going to be focused on the needs of those who cook for one. PPR S25 is a lighter version of the course - those cooking for one don't need the longer, more complex batch cooking sessions! And it's focused on building a small community of healthy vegan cooks who can support each other through the course and, perhaps, beyond. If that sounds interesting, check out the full details here:
Due to the smaller scope of this course, the price is reduced compared to the normal PPR tuition. Early-bird discount is on until April 6th using coupon code EARLY and Canadian $ pricing is available. This is my monthly free workshop and an intro to the Plan, Prep, and Relax "cooking for one" cohort content. I will share some strategies and shortcuts you can adopt, and you will contribute some stories about how you are making things work for yourself. Would you like to join us?
Keep on cooking, Brigitte p.s. Spring greens are here! Consider adding dark leafy greens to every dinner next week. Get inspired by the Vegan Family Meal Plan menu for weeks 15-16. Let me inspire you to plan, prep, and cook simple healthy vegan meals for yourself and your loved ones.
Hey there, what's cooking? What a ride we're on at the moment. I admit that I've had a hard time focusing on creating new videos and articles over the last few weeks. My cooking hasn't been particularly inspired, either. Anxiety and overwhelm aren't great companions in the kitchen. Still, we have to eat. And even just cooking something small can empower and nourish us. So let's head to the kitchen together. Close our eyes and take three deep breaths. Connect with all the other beings and...
Hello there, what's cooking this week? I talk a lot about keeping things simple in the kitchen: improvising simple meals with what you have, making fewer decisions, and just in general trying to make life easier for ourselves without sacrificing nutrition and taste. And yet, if you peek inside my pantry - as you get to do if you watch the replay of my "Build your capsule pantry" free workshop - you'll see that chaos is also part of my kitchen life. As a professional meal planner and healthy...
Hello there, what's cooking? This month's free workshop is about adopting a minimalist approach to stocking your pantry: In this 1-hour Zoom event, you'll find out what ingredients I keep inside my kitchen cabinets... and maybe rethink what you should keep in YOURS. You may be surprised to learn that, as a full-time cooking professional, I don't actually have a big kitchen and no separate pantry!! I have to be very intentional about what I stock. We chose to live in an apartment in part...
